Barcelona priority target favours Camp Nou move despite Real Madrid enquiry – report

Barcelona’s hopes of signing Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid this summer have received a significant boost.

The Argentinian superstar continues to be linked with several elite clubs around the world, with Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid said to have made enquiries over a potential move.

However, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari , Alvarez’s first choice is Barcelona. The 26-year-old dreams of wearing Blaugrana and would prefer to join Flick’s team.

It has also been mentioned that a move could happen only if Atletico are willing to open the door this summer.

So far, they have rejected Barcelona’s first big bid for the talented striker and also taken to social media to mock the Catalan club over the same.
