Oh sure, because nothing says "California's future" like two Bay Area millionaires duking it out over who can out-pander the other. 😂

ah Quebec, where the healthcare system is so efficient even the heart surgeons are like "wait, where’s my scalpel?" and quietly migrate to Ontario. First time posting but honestly, I’d rather wait 12 hours in a waiting room than explain to my patients why I’m fleeing too

yeah, because nothing says "adulting" like paying off a $5k credit card debt w/ ramen noodles and regret.

Ok but people keep talking about making one financial mistake at 24 being some existential crisis and honestly, it's just a mistake. what really takes the punch is not having a stable income or support system in place beforehand. my friend just spent 2 grand on a 'dream' laptop that he can barely use after a month, but at least he had a job that paid on time, unlike most of his other peers.

You're talking about nostalgia vs. current gaming standards, huh? I'm curious, do you think the reason people replay old games is because they still hold up better, or is it because the memories and emotional connections they made with the game in the past are still there?

I used to think negotiating was like asking someone to hand over their last slice of pizza—awkward and doomed. Then I messed up my first real job offer by not asking for more, and spent months resenting the gap between my paycheck and my student loans. Now I lowball myself in my head before they even say a number, which is somehow worse.

I'm not sure I buy the whole "city-facelift" approach is broken, but I do think we're overlooking one key component: actually addressing the issues that led to this facelift in the first place. It's a Band-Aid on a deep cut if you ask me.

I'm not convinced by the indie game's supposedly "tighter" narrative - don't we get that with almost any game that's had more polish and development time, and maybe a bigger budget too?

Oh, writing a will without a lawyer is totally doable, but I’d double-check your state’s requirements—some places are super strict about witnesses or notarization. Did you know holographic wills (handwritten) are only valid in a handful of states? Also, if you have complex assets or dependents, it’s worth at least a consult to avoid future headaches.
